ADDITIONAL NOTICE. TRAMWAY, FOXTON to PALMERSTON. EXTENSION OF TIME FOR RECEIVING- TENDERS. THE date for receiving the Tenders adver* tised on the 30th December last for the construction of about Twenty-one Miles of Tramway is EXTENDED from 2 p.m. on Monday, the sth February, 1872, to 2 p.m. on MONDAY, the TWELFTH FEBRUARY, 1872. In addition to the places where specifications may be seen, as already advertised, ia the following, viz.:— Post Office, Palmerston. JOHN BLACKETT, Assistant Engineer-in-Chief. Public Works Office, Wellington, 19th January, 1872. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS. Provincial Secretary’s Office, Wellington, Jan. 19,1872. TENDERS will be received at the above office up to noon of Tuesday, the 13th February, for the construction of a Bridge over the Waingawa River, Wairarapa. Plans and specifications may be seen at the Sir George Grey Hotel, Masterton, and Provincial Engineer’s Office, Wellington. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
