POLICE COUNT.
Thursday, December 21. (Before J. C. Crawford, Esq., R-M ) STABBING. Ah Took was charged with having feloniously wounded Ah Gee, a countryman of his own, in his house on the Adelaide road. John Ah Tong was sworn to interpret the proceedings, which were merely formal. In answer to the charge the prisoner admitted having stabbed Ah Gee. Inspector Achison then applied for a remand till Saturday, the opinion of Dr Grace having been obtained to the effect that the wounded man was not only unable to attend at Court but was not expected to recover from the effect of the wound. The remand was granted.
