Birdists have positively asserted that the thrush will not breed when in confinement. The idea is exploded. Mr Denton, of Willis street, has in his aviary at the present time a young brood of thrushes, hatched on his own premises, and, moreover, this is the third lot from the same parentage. The whole of the young birds are to be seen flying about in the enclosure in which they were hatched.
