Lockhart.—On September, 5, at Castle Point, Wellington, New Zealand, George C.
Eliott Lockhart, Esq., R.N., aged 27 years, Jenkins. —On September 21, Sarah Ann,
daughter of John Jenkins, aged five months. Dark. —On September 22, at Moore street, Pipitea, Hannah, wife of Mr William John Dark, aged 44 years. Deceased was an old colonist, having come to the colony in the
ship George Fife, in 1842, and leaves a numerous circle of friends. Greeks. —At the Taita, Hutt, on September 25, George Greeks, aged 44 years. Hall. —At the Lower Hutt, on September 28, Albert J. B. Hall, son of Mr Joseph Hall, wheelwright, from injuries received by a kick from a horse on the 23rd September, on the occasion of the driving of the first pile of the new Hutt bridge; aged 10 years and 8 months.
