Napieb VoLUNTEEKS. —Colonel Harrington has been “waking up” the Napier Militia and Volunteers. When inspecting them the other day, he said that “he saw that many individuals in the corps did not even know how to go through the simple motions of loading. The Militia, as a body, seemed deficient in respect of rifle firing ; only two had qualified themselves ag representatives for the colonial prize firing.
