THAMES GOLD-FIELD.
The following extract from a private telegram received on the evening of the 23rd, has been kindly placed at our disposal for publication:— “ Renewal of the gold fever in Auckland is as bad as ever. ■* The yield of gold from the Caledonian is fabulous. The next dividend will probably be £25 or £3O per scrip. The scrip is selling from £IBO upwards. Thames Company’s scrip, £35. The yield of gold for the week from the Caledonian is twenty thousand ounces.
