A Song or Welcome. —A “ Song of Waitemata,” being a doggerel welcome, a very long way after Longfellow’s “ Hiawatha,” to the Nevada, is published in the “Southern Cross” of the sih instant. We give the last four lines, which are a fair sample of the remainder : “ Here for thee is savory kai-bai Waipiro to make thine heart glad, Rumginbrandy— Alechampagnesir—Waitemata bids thee welcome!”
