All hands have been saved, and also the scientific instruments. The captain, who behaved most nobly, is still on board, and, with a view to save the ship, has telegraphed to Malta for assistance. A Plymouth correspondent sends -the following:—A private telegram just received in Plymouth, from an officer of H.M.S. Psyche has gone ashore near Catania, on the eastern shore of the island of Sicily. It was not known if there was a chance of saving her, but her position was so critical that all her officers and crew had landed, an operation which was effected in safety.
