SOCIETY'S ANNUAL REPORT REDUCTION IN LOSSES - [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Saturday The annual report of the Whangarei Agricultural and Pastoral Society discloses a Joss of £64 on the year's working, which is much smaller than that of the previous year. With a view to rehabilitating the finances of the society, states the report, a gymkhana was held on Labour Day last year, resulting in a profit of £94. Tho loss on the summer show was £154. The 1936 show will mark the diamond jubilee of the society, and it is hoped to make it an outstanding success. The profit on the wint-er show amounted to £179, and the report expresses the thanks of the executive and society to the committee who successfully re-established tho show.
