PAKURANGA HUNT CLUB

CHILDREN'S PAPER-CHASE J A paperchase organised by Mr. ami Mrs. P. H. Smith for juvenile memben of the Pakuranga Hunt Club was held on Saturday afternoon. About 30 riders took part. Commencing at thl Green Mount crossroads, the trail la? first toward the Tamaki River, then across the properties of Messrs. W, Guy, T. Whyte and R. Dawson, up the iteep hill to Ridge Road. Here several riders lost the trail but picked it up again on the farm of Mr. R. Hattawav, Leading across Botany Road, tin "scent" led the followers across .Mr. R. Harris' farm and back to the Isc"' nels, where afternoon tea was served. The "hares'" were Mr. Smith and M r < Patrick Moore and the hounds vera in the charge of Mr. W. Guy. Mr. C. Allen was field master.
