Chisholm, Esq. ; twenty-four of "them warranted within two months of calving, and one that has calved while entering the heads of Port Nicholson. These heifers arc of the most choice kind, and have been allowed to attain maturity before going to bull; and they can be strongly recommended, as they were shipped by the owners of the brig Nimrod, from the best breed in Port Phillip. The section is situated about two miles out of the Porirua Road, and upon the line which will be the principal road or HIGHWAY INTO THE INTERIOR; - it is WELL WATERED, being intersected by a large stream, and is NOT HEAVILY TIMBERED. Its locality is admirably adapted for ONE OF THE VILLAGES ' which must be shortly formed in this district, being a most convenient distance forthe end of a first and easy stage out of Wellington. The present offers an excellent opportunity to parties intending to farm, and to others for a very profitable investment of capital. No disturbance from the natives need be apprenendod, as the auctioneer is not aware that the validity of the sale of this district to the New Zealand Company- has ever been called in question.
