NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS, 1905.

FBOM 22nd Decembei to 3rd January, inclusive (25th December and Sundays excepted) extra mail trains will run as follows —

UP. Te Aro dep 8.51 am., Wellington 9 5 a.m., Napier arr 730 p.m. Kunning 40 minutes after ordinary mail train and mak ing same stops, and, in addition, stopping at flag-stations between Woodville and Dannevirke to take up passengers for stopping stations north of Dannevirke.

DOWN. Napier dep 7.45 a.m. Wellington air 6.20 p.m., Te Aro 6 32. Running one hour AHEAD of Ordinary Mail, and making usual mail train stops. The Ordinary- Mail train will not stop to take up passengers at any station between Woodville and Masterton except at Pahiatua and Eketahuna.

On SATUEDAY, 23rd DECEMBER, additional passenger trains will run as follows :— FOR NAPIER AND GREYTOWN.— Te Aro dep 11.30 p.m , Wellington 11.45, Woodville 7.5 am., 24th, Napier arr 11.50 a.m. on 24th. This train will stop between Wellington and Lower Hutt to lift passengers for north of Lower Hutt only. North of Lower Hutt it will stop at all stations if required. FOR TE ARO. — Napier dep 11 30 p.m., Woodville 4.33 a.m., on 24th, Wellington arr 11.27, Te Aro ayr 11.40 a.m. on 24th. This train will stop, if required, at all stations.

On SATURDAY, 23rd DECEMBER, an extra train for MASTERTON, stopping, if required, at all stations for passengers, will run as follows :—: — TE AEO, dep 2.45 p.m., WELLINGTON dep 3.0 p.m., Greytown 6.12 (arr 6.40), Masterton arr 7.32 p.m. The usual 2.50 p.m. Te Aro-Lower Hutt train will leave Te Aro at 3.10 p.m., Wellington 3.26. On SUNDAY, 24th, and SUNDAY, 31st DECEMBER, 1905, passenger trains will run as under :—: — FOR NAPIER.— Te Aro dep 8.5 am., Wellington 8 20, Masterton 12.18 p.m., Woodville 2.55 p m., Napier arr 7.50 p.m. This train will only stop between Te Aro and Upper Hutt. North of Upper Hutt it will stop at all stations if required. FOR TE ARO.— Napier dep 8.45 p.m., Woodville 1 43 p.m., Masterton 4.0, Wellington arr 8.15, Te Aro arr 8.27 p.m. This train will only stop between Upper Hutt and Wellington to set down passengers from north of Upper Hutt. North of Upper Hutt it will stop at all stations if required.
