THE Collection of Householdl Refuse in the Melrose District will be undertaken by the Council about the 2nd day of October, and residents of the district are notified that it will be necessary for them to provide properreceptacles conveniently placed for the removal of the contents. The following are the days in which the various portions of the district will be attended to: — ISLAND BAY— MONDAYS. KELBURNE AND ROSENEATH— TUESDAYS. MARANUIAND KILBIRNIE— WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS.
