FERRYSIDE. FERRYSIDE. DAY'S BAY. THE NEW SEASIDE SUBURB OF FERRYSIDE. DAY'S BAY. IN THE EXCHANGE LAND MART, No. 84, Lambton Quay, Wellington. ON THURSDAY EVENING, 12th OCTOBER, 1905. At 7.30 o'clock. MACDONALD, WILSON AND CO. are favoured! with instructions from the Wellington Steam Ferry Company, Ltd., to sell by Public Auction as above — The NEW SEASIDE SUBURB OF FERRYSIDE, DAY'S BAY, adjoining the large Private Hotel and Hockey Grounds, Days Bay. The Suburb of Ferryside contains f*f* SIXTY-SIX MAGNIFICENT nt* UU BUILDING SECTIONS. OO ranging in area from One-eighth of an Acre to over HaJf-an-Acre each. Each of the Sections is admirably adapted for building upon. The Suburb of Ferryside has the advantage of being adjacent to the splendid Private Hotel at Day's Bay and the Hockey Grounds, and close to the Day's Bay Wharf. Two minutes' walk from the ferry steamer brings one to the Suburb. Of the many cosy nooks for settlement along the shores of Port Nicholson none excel the sylvan Suburb of Day's Bay. Beautifully sheltered from the rude winds of Wellington, Ferryside nestles along the sandyrront of the Bay, and creeps lovingly up the hillside amidst a wealth of native bush, flowering shrubs, and creepers. The glorious panorama which unrols itself before the eye of the visitor to Ferryside must be seen to be understood. None who love nature in all her aspects can fail to be profoundly moved when they look upon it, and to rejoice that they have an opportunity to create a home amidst such elevating and ©harming surroundings. To professional and business men Day's Bay and its surroundings must appeal strongly. Its close proximity to Wellington, and the running of ferry steamers six times each day, enables him to live there with the same comfort as if he was residing in the City, while it cannot be surpassed as a health resort. It must also be remembered that Day's Bay has now become an exceedingly valuable watering place, and that its value is greatly enhanced by its small area. It cannot be enlarged. The present opportunity of acquiring a Building Section is, of course, quite exceptional, and cannot again occur. SpecM arrangements will be made to guide visitors over every portion of Ferryside, and to point out each seotriion. The Terms of Sale are as under : — Ten per cent, deposit; Ten per cent, in three months ; Ten per cent, in six months ; Balance in five years. Interest on unpaid purchase money, 5 per cent. Lithographic plans may be obtained from the Auctioneers and at the Day's Bay Private Hotel and at the Pavilion. For the convenience of residents at the Bay desirous of attending the sale a Ferry Steamer will leave there at 6.80 o'clock- p.m., conveying them free of charge, and returning to the Bay immediately after the sale.
