The Suburb of Ferryside has the advantage of being adjacent to the splendid Private Hotel at Day's Bay and the Hockey Grounds, and close to the Day's Bay Wharf. Two minutes' walk from tihe ferry steamer brings one to the Suburb. Of the many cosy nooks for settlement along the shores of Port Nicholson none excel the sylvan Suburb *of Day's Bay. To professional and business men Day's Bay and its surroundings must appeal strongly. Its close proximity to Wellington, and the running of ferry steamers six times each day, enables him to live there with the same comfort as if fee was residing in the City, while it cannot be surpassed as a nealth resort. It must also be remembered that Day's Bay has now become an exceedingly valuable watering place, and that its value is greatly enhanced by its small area. It cannot be enlarged.
