The trouble between the Wellington and the New Zealand Boxing Associations has resulted in the local body throwing up the championship meeting. It has been definitely decided to hold the local championships on the 20th and 21st July. One of the features of the championship meeting will be an amateur event open to any member of an established sports dub— hockey, football, rowing, cricket, etc., etc. A vacancy having arisen, Mr. McVilly has been appointed a vice-presi-dent.
