NOTICE RESPECTING PROPOSED BOROUGH OF JOHNSON VILLE, COCJiNTY OF HUTT.
Colonial Secretary's Office, Welliiigcon, 9th .February, 1905. PURSUANT to Section 175 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, j.yOJ," ILs Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified that a. petition has been pie&ented to him praying for the constitution or the area described in the Schedule hereto as a borough, under the baud act, to be named the Borough of Johnsonville. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any wratten objections to, or petitions against, the oonstatution of the said borough, which they may desire to lodge, within on© month from the first publication of thus notice. Such objections or petitions to be addiressed to the Colonial Secretary, Wellington.
SCHEDULE
Description of Boundaries of the Proposed Borough of Johnsonville. All that area in the Wellington Land Distinct bounded towards the north generally by Sections Nos. 114 and' 22, Block VI., Belmont Survey Distract, the oiossing of a road, and by Section No. 23, Block VII., Belmont Survey Distract, from the westernmost corner of the said Section No. 114 to the {southernmost corner of Section No. 6 of the said Block VII. thence towards the eae>t geneially by Section, No. 4 of the said Block "VII., by Sections Nos. 3, 2, 1, 13. 12 11, and 10, Block XII., Belmont Survey Distract, and by the production of the south-western boundary line of the last-mentioned .section produced in a south-easterly direction to high-water mark of Port. Nicholson ; thence by high-water mark of Port Nicholson to the easternmost corner of the Borough of Onslow, as the said borough is desoi ibed in the "New Zealand Gazette" No. 12, of 13th March 1890 ; thence towards the south-west generally by the said Boiouigh of Onslow to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 91 (Native reserved Block XI., Belmont Survey District thence towards the north-west bv a right line to the southernmost corner of Section No. 14, Block XI., Belmont Survey D^tnct: thence by the said Section No. 14 and by Sections Nos. 15 17 18, 20. 21, and 23, Block VI.
