In the matter of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," "The Tramways Act, 1894," and "The Public Works Act, 1894."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of Wellington proposes under the provisions of the above-men-tioned' Acts, to take for the purposes of the saad public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto, which are required to be taken for the said work. AND notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required' to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council, situate a.t the corner of Cuba-street and Mercer-street, in the saidl City, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and 1 that all persons affected by the execution of the saidl public work or by the taking of such lands should^ if they have any wellgToundedi objections to the taking of stieh landfe, set forth the same in writinsr within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town.
