NOTICE RESPECTING PROPOSED BOROUGH OF MIRAMAR, COUNTY OF HUTT.

Colonial Secretary's Office, Wellington, 15th September, 1904. PURSUANT to section 175 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900" His Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified that a petition has been presented to him praying for the constitution of the area described! in the Schedule heieto a® a horough under the said Act, to be named the Borough of Miramar. All persons atfected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to, or petitions against, the constitution of. the said borough which they may desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice. Such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Colonial Secretary, Wellington.

SCHEDULE

Description of Boundaries of the Proposed Boiough of Miramar. All that area in the Wellington Land District, situated! in Blocks VU. and XI. Poit Nicholson Survey District, bounded towards the west by the City of Wellington from Lyall Bay to Evans Bay, and thence by high-watermark or Evans Bay to Point Halswel I ; thence towards the north-east generally by high-water mark or Port Nicholson to Palmer Head; thence towards the south-east o-enerally by the high-water mark of the sea to Lyall Bay ; and thence toward® the south-west by high-water mark of Lyall Bay to the boundary of the City of Wellington. MIRAMAR 'BUS

A 'BUS Service (subsidised by the Syndicates interested in Miramar), will, from to-morrow, run daily between Miramar and' Constable-street, to the following time-table — WEEK DAYS : Leave Miramar 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 10.15 a.m., 1.30 p.m., 5 p.m. b p.m. Leave Constable-street, 7.30 a.m., 8.30 a.m., 10.45 a.m., 1.45 p.m., 5.30 p.m., 6.30 p.m.* On Saturday afternoons extra Buses will leave Constable-street at 2.45 p.m. and 3.45 p.m. * The 6 p.m. from Miramar, and b.oU p.m. from Constable-street, will not run on Saturdays. On Saturday evenings, a 'Bus will leaie Mnamar at 6.45 p.m.. for Royal Oak Hotel, Dixon-street, returning from there at 10.15 p.m., and from Constable-street at 10.45 p.m.

SUNDAYS Leave Miramar, 10.15 a.m., 1.30 p.m., 5 p.m. Leave Constable-street, 10.45 a.m., 2.15 p.m., 5.30 p.m.

FARES : Week days, for residents in Seatounroad district, 2d each way (by purchasing cards containin "■ six fares). All other passengers, 3d each way. Saturday night 'Bus (into town), 6d each way.
