Amateur Athletics.

Arrangements for the coming Harrier teams road race, to take place on Saturday, the 24th inst., are about complete. At least twelve teams will face the starter. Three gymnasiums will be represented, besides hookey and football clubs, volunteer companies, and many others. The silver challenge shield, presented by Messrs. Whyt© and Mackay, and the gold and silver medals, will be on view at Mr. Jas. Speed's, Lambton Quay, early next week.
