I HEREBY give notice that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Melrose Ward of the City of Wellington) will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 20th day of July, 1904, on the proposal of the Council of the City of Wellington to Borrow, by way of Special lioan, within the meaning of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901 " the sum of Thirtythree Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (£33,500), to be expended as follows • — ISLAND BAY DISTRICT. .For Street and Footpath Formation, Channelling, and Metalline, etc. .. £8,837 Engineering and Contingencies 1,163 £10,000 KILBIRNIE DISTRICT.
