Mrs. Joyful : Well, it's funny, but the fact is Mr. Joyful gave me a cheque for £14 10s. to buy a sewing machine and I happened to mention the matter to my dressmaker and she advised me to have a Frister and Rossmann, the same as she uses in her workroom, and the price is only £6 Bs. 6d. at WARNOCK AND ADKIN'S ' Well, I took her advice and we are of for a week's holiday to spend the £8 Is. 6d. which we saved, and we have a splendid sewing machine. Mrs. Walker : Dear me ! Mine cost me £14 10s. and it makes enough noise to wake all the babies in the street, but it's not a Frister and Rossmann.
