ONSLOW BOROUGH COUNCIL. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE RATES. NOTICE is hereby given that the Onslow Borough Council will, at d. Special Meeting to be held on SATURDAY, the 4th June, 1904, at 8 p.m.. make the following Rates, for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1904, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1905 : — A General Rate under the provisions of "The Rating on Unimproved Value. Act, 1896," for the general purposes of the Borough of Twopence in the Pound on the unimproved value of all ratable property within the Borough. A Rate of One-fifth of a Penny in the Pound on the capital value of all ratable property within the Borough, such rates being required to meet the contribution payable by the Council to the Wellington Hospital Board and the Wellington and. Wairarapa Charitable Aid Board. An annually recurring Rate of Three Farthings in the Pound on tthe unimproved value of all ratable property within tfhe Borough to provide for the payment of interest and sinking fund on the loan raised in the Borough of Onslow. The above Rates will be payable in one sum on the Bth day of June, 1904, at tihe Office of the Council, 215. Lambtor' Quay. The Rate>-books showing the said several Rates proposed' to be madle are opem for inspection of all ratepayers at the Borough Offices. S. C. G. VICKERS, Town Clerk.
