NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE RATES. NOTICE is hereby given that the Onslow Borough Council will, at a. Special Meeting to, be held on SATURDAY, the 4th June, 1904, at 8 p.m. make- the following Rates for the period" commencing on the Ist day of Apul, 1904, and ending on the 31st day of Mairc-h, 1905 — A General Rate under the provisions of "The Rating on Unimproved Value Act, 1896," for the general purposes of the Borough of Twopence in the Pound on the unimproved value of all ratable property withm the Borough.. A Rate of One-fifth of a Penny in blue Pound on the capital value of all ratable property within the Borough, such rates being required to meet the contribution payable by the Council to the Wellington Hospital Board and the Wellington and Wairarapa Charitable Aid 1 Board. An annually recurring Rate of Three Farthings in the Pound on tlhe unimproved value of all raitable property within the Borough to provide for the, payment' of interest and sinking fund on tihe loan raised in the Borough of Onslow. The above Rates will be payable* in one sum om the Bth day of June, 1904, at tihe Office of the Council, 215, Lambton Quay.
