I HEREBY give notice thajt the number of votes recorded/ upon tie taking of the Poll on the 3rd instant, for and against the proposal of the Wellington City Council to borrow the sum of Seventy-Five Thousand' Pounds (£75,000) to provide the shortage of loan authorised for the construction of the Electric Tramways and -wood-paving streets, and 1 to complete the erection of and furnish the Town Hall and Municipal Offices and to provide am Organ therein, was as follows : — For the proposal : : 483 Against the proposal : 217 And I declare the said proposal 1 to be carried.
