Harriers.
The Wellington Harriers opened their season last Satuiday afternoon, and although the weathei was not quite all une's fancy paints, it was very pood for the "run." The gatheiing took place L.t the Basin Reserve, and there His Worship the Mayoi , in a short speech, wished the club great success in the ccming season. A number of ladies were present, and afternoon tea, served >n the pavilion, was very much appreciated. I understand that the Harriers have doubled their number of members since last year. It is satisfactory also to hear that the team from Harrisons Gymnasium, who ran such a plucky second in the Teams Road Race last year, are already looking foiward to giving a good account of themselves.
