I HEREBY give notice that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Wellington Ward of the City of Wellington will be taken on TUESDAY, the 3rd day of May, 1904, on the proposal of the Council of the City of Wellington to borrow, by way of Special Loan, within the meaning of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," the sum of Seventy-five Thousand Pounds, to beexpenlded as follows : — -In making up the shortage in the authorised Loan of Three Hundred and Thirty Thousand Pounds for the construction of Electric Tramways, £14,625 -. for Wood - paving Streets £3575 • and for Erection of Town Hall, £3250. Total £21, 45 a In the completion of the construction of Electric Tramways : 35,000" In completing the Erection of and Furnishing the Town Hall and Municipal Offices and for providing an Organ 18.550 Total • : : £75,000 And I further give notice that such.
