NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of thp Wellington City Council to fix the level of a portion of the Esplanade, Island Bay, as shown upon a pan now on view at the City Engineer's Office, Panama Street, and which will be open for inspection for one month fiom this date Should any objections be taken to the level they must be expressed in writing and forwarded to the undersigned on or before the 28th day of March instant. The Council will consider such objections at a meeting to be held on the 7th day of April next, at which all objectors having lodged their objections in writing may be heard in person if so desired. WORLD'S FAIR. nnHE Government intend sending an JL Exhibit to the World's Fair, St. Louis, U.S.A., which opens on Ist May, and would undertake (a) To provide reasonable proportionate allotment of space free of charge to exhibitors ; (b) to handle and display approved exhibits on behalf of private owners, repack and return same to New Zealand. Cost of transport and other incidental expenses to be paid in advance or guaranteed by exhibitors, as may agreed. The undersigned should be advised of nature of exhibit, its weight and measurement when packed, and space required for exhibition. Exhibits should reach St. Louis before the 30th of APRIL NEXT. T. E.
