WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.
EXCEPTIONAL TRAFFIC BYLAW.
NOTICE is hereby given that the following Resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council, held on THURSDAY, the 28th day of January, 1904 — namey ' RESOLUTION: The Council of the City of Wellington hereby makes (by Special Order) the following Bylaws under the provisions of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," and "The Municipal Corporation Act Amendment Act, 1900," and in pursuance of all other powers (if any) authorising the Council in such behalf. The above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on the 25th day of February, 1904, at 8 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Brandonstreet, Wellington, when the date on which the said Bylaw will come into force will be fixed. The object and purport of the proposed Bylaw are — 1. To license traction-engines within the City. 2. To regulate traction-engines traffic and to prescribe routes and times for the same within the City. JNO. R. PALMER, Town Clerk. Ist February, 1904.
