CEMETERY BYLAW "XT OTICE is hereby given that the fol1\ lowing Resolution v>a^ passed at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council, held on Thursday, the 28th January, 1904— namely . RESOLUTION The Council of the City of Wellington hereby makes (by Special Order) the following Bylaws under "The Cemeteries Act, 1882 " "The Municipal Corporations' Act, 1900," and all other Acts and powers enabling the Council on that behalf to amend and add provisions to the Bylaws of the saad Council made and passed on the 22nd day of May, 1898, and intituled "The Consolidated Bylaw, 1898." The above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held on the 25th day of February, 1904 at 8 pm. at the "Council Chambers Bran-don-street, when the date on which the &aid Bylaw will come into force will be The object and purport of the proposed Bylaw are — To amend the fiist schedule to the Cemetery Regulations of "The Consolidated Bylaw, 1898." WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. PROPOSED BYLAWS. NOTICE is hereby given that Resolutions were passed at a Special Meeting of the City Council of Wellington held on THURSDAY, the 28th day of January, 1904, to make (by Special Order) the following Bylaws under "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900, to amend and add provisions to the Consolidated Bylaw, 1898 The above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on THURSDAY, thei 25th day of February, 1904, at 8 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Brandon-street, Wellington, when the date on winch the said Bylaws, w ill come into force will be fixed. The objects and purport of the amending Bylaws are as follows — 1 To amend and add t& "The Consolidated Bylaw, 1898," by providing that -no person, or persons shall loiter or remain in any one place on any public street, footpath, or open public space after being directed to move on by any constable, peace officer, or Inspector of Nuisances. 2 To amend Clause 299 of "The Consolidated Bylaw, 1898," by the addition after the word 'license in the first line of the said clause of the words "or person or persons for the time being in charge." Full copies of the above proposed Bylaws are deposited for inspection at the Office of the City Council, BrandonStreet JNO. R. PALMER, Town Clerk. Ist February, 1904.
