Wellington, 30th December, 1903. THE New Zealand Government require the services of a gentleman competent to undertake the duties of General Manager of the New Zealand State Fire Insurance Department to be established under the Act of last session. Salary. £800 per annum. Applications, which will be treated as strictly confidential, will be received up to the 21st January, 1904, and should be enclosed in sealed envelope addressed to the Colonial Treasurer, Wellington. The envelope should be marked confidential, and endorsed "Application Manager State Fire Insurance Department." A thorough knowledge of the business of fire insurance in all its branches will b^ essential. Applicants will be expected to furnish a statement of their experience, as wel las copies of their credentials and references, also age.
