The student handles actual books and papers as he would in business. He receives, enters and files invoices inward. He prepaies, enters, copies and despatches invoices outward. He handles Bills of Exchange and is made thoroughly acquainted with the names of the different paities to a bill, their rights and liabilites. He wiites letters to his customers, writes out and encloses cheques, etc This department is under the charge of Mr. J. S. Barton, A. LA. Viet., Incorporated Accountant and Auditor Touch Typewriting is also taught. Adveitising space is too valuable to describe fully what touch typewriting is, but the results achieved by this system speak for themselves. Students who have been learning under this system for less than one quarter can wnte complex sentences at a fair speed while blindfolded. Pitman's Shorthand also taught. These departments are under the charge of Mi. C. E. Walker, F. Last., S.T. Students coached for Junior Civil Service Exam. Also for the Exams, of the Accountants' Institutes.
