A Cobbection. — At the conclusion of the story, " All's Fair in Love and War," two errors call for coirection. At the end of first column of page 23 read " The scores came to 997 (not 944)— 896." At end of second column, second paragraph should read: — "Then an extraordinary thing happened. The red ball, hanging right over the pocket, without being struck by Buebanan's ball, moved to one side, and the striker's ball rolled into the pocket. Probyne had won the game."
