The Hustle.

From November 29th, up to the present time, the surging crowd outside 26, Willis-street, has been a source of wonderment to passers-by on the other side of the street, and the policeman on the beat. The fact is, the Yankee Hustle Sale is hustling ail it knows, and the American Novelty Company, with their characteristic keenness, have seen that to attract one thousand people, and sell tihem an acrticle >at a bare profit, is better than attracting a hundred buyers and selling tihem something at a "thumping" figure. The American Novelty Stores do not ha,ve to sell dead and dirty stock. The hustle business makes it impossible for them to keep anything long enough to die or get dirty. Go to Willis-street, and see for yourselves. The things are not cheap and good merely because the hustlers say so. Dr. Martin's horses shied outside that store the othe<r day, and collided with the verandah post. Ma<ybe. those noble quadrupeds were astonished at the prices. People do not shy at the prices — they waide right in collect their batch of presents for Christmas and the New Year, and vanish to let the other fellow get a look in. The folks who purchased at the preliminary hustle of May last are right there to annex bargains as formerly. You will disburse less cash, than you are in the habit of doing at this time of -"©ar if you pass right along to 26, Willis-street,, but you will get as much as usual. If you are bed-ridden,, or suffer with corns, you can get the hustlers to mail ou anything you want, and they undertake not to rum -ou.

There is every promise of eager competition for the seaside se«tions at Haughton Bay which are to be sold by Mossirs. Harcourt and Co., this, (Friday) afternoon. The Bay is admirably adapted for ai marine suburb, being within easy reach, aaid is charmingly situated. Land theie must rise rapidly in value.
