The Sale of Miramar

Our readers are reminded that the sale of sections in the new suburb of Miramar, which has- been extensively advertised for some weeks past by Messrs. Macdonald, Wilson, and Co., will take place at their rooms, Lambton Quay on Thursday next, at 2.30 o'clock. The sections 132 in number, range in area from a ouarter-acre to three-quarters of an acre each all fronting streets of 99ft. and 66ft. in width, the formal. on of which is now being completed. Miramar has much to commend it as a suburb for residential purposes. It affords many beautiful views, embracing the Straits, Kilbirnie, Lyall Bay the harbour, and other points' of interest. It has also a sunny aspect and a fertile soil. Easy access to and from the property has been arranged for with the Miramar Ferry Company, which will run a daily service on and after the first of January next at fares which are extremely liberal. The terms of sale are a deposit of ten per cent, on each section, and the balance of seventy per cent, can remain unpaid for five years at five per cent, interest. As the sale appears to have created a great deal of interest, judging by the large numbers who have visited the estate and the great demand which has existed for the lithographic nlans, there should be a large gathering at the sale and spirited bidding for the sections. Lithograohic plans can be obtained from the auctioneers. The usual free excursions will run on Saturday Sunday, and Wednesday next, leaving tjhe Ferry Wharf at 2.30 o'clock.
