He had not been long in the hall himself when he had discovered that his knowledge of cookery was very elementary, and he had purchased already a book on sale in the hall which he had pleasure in recommending to all concerned for its excellent recipes — Sir Joseph Ward at Empire Bazaar HIS FIRST PERFORMANCE. King Dick : Good Heaven ' Joe, who's your cook ' Sir Joe It's all right, Dick, don't be alarmed. As everybody's gone out to the Bazaar I thought I'd give you all a pleasant little surprise by showing you what I could do in the cookery line. I bought a book of ip-to-date recipes the other day and this is my first performance.
