IN the couise of a few weeks the Piemier will le^ve us to lepiesent New Zealand at the Coronation of the King, and it is thought that his appioaching departuie presents a fitting time to expiess appreciation and approval of the prompt and piactical pioof he has given of the sympathy of his fellow colonists with their Motherland in her South African struggle. Loyalty is but kinship written laige, and eveiy man and woman in the colony is proud ot the crimson thread which makes the people of New Zealand loya) sons and daughters of the British Empire. The Premiei'shigh office has been to voice our loyalty and gi\e it effectual shape, and the vigour and judgment he has displayed in this have not only won our gratitude and admiiation, but have shown the world that whatever be the sacrifice, we cheerfully take oui stand beside oui Mother Countiy, for the maintenance of her honoui and the integiity ot her Empire. An addi ess embodying these views is now being signed throughout the colony, in order that the Premier can leave with a strong expression of opinion behind him endorsing his actions with legaid to the war, and the colony's attitude to the Mother Country. Subscnptions to the piesentation which will accompany the addiess can be forwaided direct to the Tieasurers, Messis. J. H. B. Coates and A. H. Miles, or to the Secretary, A. S. Biss, 01 to any membei ot the Committee. All signatures and subbdiptions must leach the Secietary not later than 31st Maich, in order that they may be included in the presentation. N.
