In the fit st round, Diet's rink knocked out Ponsf oid's, and Littler's beat Beatson's., all the others getting bves. In the second round Ross's (Mount Kden) beat Moult's, Rundle beat ICvans, Saywoll beat Fisher, Pcrrett (Wanganui) beat Littler, Newell beat Kenntdj McGowan beat McGorreij, Moslem beat Bennie, and Muir beat Diew. In the thud round, Mow tern's rink beat Mmr's, New ell's oean McGowan's, Ferret t's beat Ross's, Say well's beat Rundle's. In the Mowlem's rink beat New ell's and Peirett's rink beat Say\\ell\. The final match was played out c n Wedne&da\ afternoon, the opposing nik<. being— Wanganui (Wright, Paterson, Keesmg, Ptnett, skip) and Palmeiston (Buick, McPliee, Nash, Moslem skip). Mowlam's link won easily by ]() to 7.
