WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office until NOON of MONDAY, the 6th January, 1902 for the sole right of displaying automatic machines at stations on the following; sections of the New Zealand Government Railways, with their extensions, for a period of three years from Ist April, 1902 — Northern (comprising Kawakawa, Whangarei, Kaihu, and Auckland Sec tions^ Wellington-Napier- New Plymouth, Hurunui-Bluff, and West Coast (comprising Westland, Westport, Nelson, and Picton Sections). They must be addressed to the General Manager, New Zealand Government Railways, Wellington, and marked outside "Tender for Ri^ht of Displaying Automatic Machines," and must also be accompanied by a marked cheque on somp bank for the specified amount, in favour of the Receiver-General's Deposit Account only, and not to bearer or order. Specifications and conditions of contract, with forms of tender, can be obtained a.t the railway stations at Opua, WhanT'irei, Dargaville, Auckland, Napier. WelHneton, Wan^anui.
