T~\ ISTRICT ORDERS Headquarters, Wellington, 30th Ootober, 1901. 1. On Saturday, 9th November, being the Anniversary of the Birthday of His Majesty the King, a Royal Salute of twenty-one guns will be fired from the Saluting Battery at 8 a.m., by the Permanent Artillery. 2. On same date the Outer Forts will be manned by the Wellington Naval Artillery by noon. 3. The Wellington- Submarine Mineis and Wellington Engineers will parade at Mount Cook Drillshed at 9 30 a m , and march thence by nearest route to Mount Crawford to act, under Commander Campbell, in defence of the Forts " in reverse." 4. The Wellington Battalion, Cycle and Bearer Corps, and the Garrison Band will parade at Mount Cook at 9.30 a m., and pioceed to the Miramar Peninsula for Field Manoeuvres and as an attacking force, under Lieut.-Col. Collins. .■>. Water Bottles, Haversacks, and a Light Meal will be carried. 6.
