CEREMONY OF THE LAYING OF THE FOUNDATION STONE OF RAILWAY DEPARTMENTAL OFFICES, FEATHERSTON STREET, ON FRIDAY, 21st JUNE, 1901.

THOSE invited to view the ceremony are requested to be IN THEIR PLACES by 11.15 a.m. After 11.30 a.m. no one will be permitted to enter the enclosuie. The entrances are at the corner of Whitmore and Featherston streets, in Whitmore-street, by the Railway Line, at the north of site in Featherston-street, and in Bunnystreet by the Railway Line. At these entrances visitors will be required to exhibit their tickets, BUT NOT TO GIVE THEM UP.

SPECIAL NOTICE TO THOSE DRIVING TO THE CEREMONY AND TO DRIVERS OF VEHICLES. The Whitmore-street entrances only are to be used by carriages, and are to be approached from the north by Waterloo Quay, and from the south by Customhouse Quay. Carriages that are to wait to take away visitors after the ceremony is over will, after setting down their passengers, proceed down Featherston-street, and take up a stand in Waring Taylor-street. The same gates will be used by those driving away from the ceremony, and carriages must return to them by Waring Tay-lor-street and Customhouse Quay, and drive away by Whitmore-street and Lambton Quay. No carriage will be allowed to stand in the vicinity, except as provided for herein. To avoid confusion, visitors are requested to observe the arrangements made. By order. A. M. HEATON. M.C.
