THE ROYAL BOOM.

NEXT week H.R.H. the Duke of Cornwall will be in Auckland, and the Royal boom will begin. New Zealand cannot hope to compare with the Australian colonies in the matter of pageants, for the simple reason that we have to make four, or rather five, separate shows in this colony against one or two m the others. The Royal visitors will appreciate the change in scenery and climate, and the Maori exhibition cannot fail to please them. There will be some heartburning about the receptions, for, if report speaks coirectlv, some queer citizens and their wives and daughters will have the honour of meeting Royalty. There are some people who will do anything to get into what is called Society, especially into the Society that basks in the sunshine of Royalty. However, the Royal Duke and his spouse will, no doubt, enjoy themselves — at any rate, they are assured of a warm and cordial welcome at all places in New Zealand, and in this the Royal couple will compare favourably with Suratura tea. Suratura comes from Ceylon, and is noted for its purity, strength, and fragrance. Suratura is guaranteed not blended with Indian, China, or any cheap or inferior teas.
