PUBLIC NOTICE is Hereby Given that under the provision of The Public Health Act, 1900, owners, drivers, and conductors of public vehicles of all descriptions are required, before allowing any person suffering from any infectious disease to enter such vehicle, to require proper precautions to be taken against spreading the infection under a penalty not exceeding £10. In order to make proper provision for the safe conveyance of infected persons to any public or private Hospital, or other place, for treatment, the Council has provided an Ambulance, the use of which can be obtained on application to Mr. Brown,, Storekeeper, Corporation Yards (Telephone 131), at a charge of OS.
