WELLINGTON AND MANAWATU RAILWAY COMPANY, LTD. ALTERATION OF TIME-TABLE.
ON and after SATURDAY, December Ist, 1900, the following alterations and additions to the present time-table will come into operation : — The train which leaves Wellington at 6.50 am. daily will in future leave at 7.25 a.m., Johnsonville 7.51 a.m., Paikakariki 8.48 a.m., Otaki 9.56 a.m., Shannon 10.33 a.m., and will connect at Palmerston with through trains for Napier, Wanganui, and New Plymouth, as at present. The train which leaves Palmerston at 4.50 p.m. and Longburn at 5.15 p.m. daily will be accelerated, and will leave Shannon at 5.50 p.m., Otaki at 6.50 p.m., Paikakariki at 7.40 p.m. 7 Johnsonville at 8.48 p.m., and will reach Wellington at 9.20 p.m., instead of 9.50 p.m., as at present. An extra train will leave Wellington at 10.10 a.m. daily, and will run thiough to Palmeiston, arriving there at 4.25 p.m., and connecting with trains for Wanganui and Dannevirke, reaching those stations at 9.12 p.m. and 8.0 p.m. lespectively. The train^fiom -Wellington at 1-20 p.m. will not run, but, instead, a train will leave Wellingtoni at 4 0 p.m. daily, which will mn through to Palmerbton, arriving theie at 9.25 p.m. The 6.30 a.m. train from Palmerston daily will be accelerated, and will leave Shannon at 7.33 a.m., Otaki at 9.8 a.m., Paikakariki at 10.38 a.m., Johnsonville at 11.48 a.m., and will reach Wellington at 12.20 p.m., instead of 12.45 p.m., as at present. The 5.30 p.m. train from Wellington to Paikakariki will run as at piesent, with the exception of Saturdays, on which days it will not run. The ti.iin which leaves Paikakaiiki at 6.45 a.m. and reaches Wellington at 8.50 a.m. daily will in future leave Paikakaiiki at 6.30 a.m., and will run 15 minutes earlier throughout, aniving in Wellington at 8.35 a.m. A train will leave Wellington at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesdays. It will run to Johnsonville, and returning will leave Johnsonville at 2.0 p.m., reaching Wellington at 2.30 p.m. On Wednesdays and Saturdays a train will leave Wellington at 1.30 p.m., and will run as fai as Paikakariki, aniving theie at 3.5 p.m. On return journey, this train will leave Paikakariki at 4.30 p.m., Plimmerton 5.5 p.m., Johnsonville 6 0 p.m , and anive in Wellington at 6.30 p.m. On Saturdays the 11.0 p.m. train from Wellington to Paikakariki will run as at present.
