The Columbine schooner, which tailed on the South Spit in the Wanganui River, was got off with damage. Her keel was wrenched away, •'and she'was brought up the river with difficulty, and unceasing baling out. Opposite the town she heeled over and sunk. Efforts are making to float and right her for the purpose of repairs. o
