Notice is hereby given, that the Country Land now under survey will lie thrown open for selection for the Preliminary Sections, • at present remaining unchosen, on Mondayi the Ist January, 1843, and following, days^—commencing at 11 a.m., and closing at 4 p.ifh., precisely, and being as follbwa: ; — No. of Sections under Survey* District os' thb Ohariu, the Sections are situated in the valley parallel with that given out at the lpsst selection, and comprise at least* 44 [Plans open for inspection at the Office.] District of the Hutt,. ~*., 100 The Sections are laid out at the upper part of the river, and are connected with those already given out* Plans to be ready Ist December, 1842. of iicar Section 10, Kinapora District, towards the coast at Wai-kanai, probably,..... 150 [Plans to he ready Ist December, 1842] District of Dowry Bay, Port Nicholson 5 [Plans now ready.] Porirua, KinaFora, and sundry parts around Port Nicholson. 18 [Plans to be ready Ist November, 1842.] District of Manawatu, the Sections extend ajong the bank of the River above those given out at the last selection, thence to the hills, and comprise at least.. .... 300 [Plans to be ready Ist December, 1842.] The Field plots may he seen at the present time at the Survey stations of the several districts respectively. In order to accommodate the holders of early choices, arrangements have been made for the party possessing the first order of choice, successively making their selection at the Survey Office as sopn as the Plans are ready, Samuel Charles Br4;es, Principal Surveyor.

At Sydney Street, Thorndon Flat, (Near the Thistle Inn,) THAT Superior* Bred Horse SAMSON, (Five Years Old), recently imported from Sydney, and in first-rate condition, the Property of Mr. Charles Cund y. The strictest attention will be shewn Mares sent to him. Charges, with guarantee, Three Guineas; without guarantee, Two Guineas. November 1, 1842.

TO COYER THIS SEASON. RIDDLESWORTH by Emilius, out of Bee-in-a-Bonnet by Blacklock, out of Maniac, &c. &c. Ten guineas a mare, five shillings the groom. Riddlesworth is a dark brown, 16 hands high, with great pbwer and beauty ; was bred by Mr. Thornhill in 1837. Emilius got Priam,. Plenipo, Oxygen, and Mango. His sons and grandsons have, during the last four years, won Riddlesworth is now on his way from England, being brought out by Mr, Petre, and will arrive early in the season. . The f Ncw Sporting Magazine, of February, 1842 will convince any one of the worth of Emilius’s stock. November 15, 1842.
