Notice is hereby given, that the Country Land now under survey will be thrown open for selection for the Preliminary Sections, at present remaining unchosen, on Monday,,the Ist January, 1543, and following days^—commencing at 11 a.m., and closing at 4 p.m., precisely, and being as follows No. of Sections . i under Survey. District of the Oiiariu, the Sections are situated in the valley parallel with that given out at the last selection, and ■ comprise at least 44 [Plans open for inspection at the Office.] District of the Hutt 100 ; The Sections arc laid out at the upper part of the river, and are connected with those already given out. Plans to be ready • Ist December, 1842. District of lloroki, extending from near the coast at Wai-kanUi, probably 150 [Plans to be ready Ist December, 1842] District of Lowry Bay, Port Nicholson 5 [Plans now ready.] Porirua, Kinapora, and sundry parts around Port Nicholson 18 [Plans to be ready Ist November, 1842 ] , . District, of Manawatu, the Sections extend along the bank of the River above those given out at the last selection, thence to the hills, and comprise at least 300 [Plans to be ready Ist December, 1842.] The Field plots may be seen at the present time at the Survey stations of the several districts respectively. In order to accommodate the holders of early choices, arrangements have been made for the party possessing the first order of choice, successively making their selection at the Survey Office as soon as the Plans are ready. RIDDLESWORTH by Emilius, out of Bee-in-a-Bonnet by Blacklock, out of Maniac, &c. &c. Ten guineas a mare, five shillings the groom. Riddles worth is a dark brown, 16 hands high, with great power and beauty; was bred by Mr. Thornhill in 1837. Emilius got Priam, Plenipo, Oxygen, and Mango. His sons and grandsons have, during the last four years, won £66,330. Riddlesworth is now on his way from England, being brought out by Mr. Petre, and will arrive early in the season. 1 . The Netv Sporting Magazine , of February, 1842 will convince any one of the worth of Emilius’s stock. November 15, 1842'.
