MATRIMONY. npHE advertiser having followed the sea for a number of years, and tired of a life so fraught with discomfort and danger, wishes, through the medium of your journal, to offer himself as the suitor of any lady of an amiable disposition and even temper, who will do him the honour of her acquaintance; hoping, by the constant nature of those attentions which are known to be characteristic of his profession, to render himself pleasing and acceptable. The advertiser would prefer a lady rather below than above his own age, which is in the prime of manhood. Money is no object, as he is already possessed of an independency. Any application by letter (post-paid) to “J, M.,” at the Office of this Paper, will be treated with that delicate secrecy which the nature of the case demands. Wellington, August 18, 18-12.
