MEDALS TO Bank of New Zealand.—For valuable scries of the varieties of Gold from the Otago fields. Heaphy C.—For his collections and geological map of Auckland, and his drawings of volcanic rocks and hot springs. D. Monro, (Nelson). —For excellent sample of oats. Hunter, Mr.—For Eastwold fleeces of fine quality. Moore, Mr. G. —For Leicester fleeces of fine quality. Morgan, Rev. G. —For mixed breed fleeces of fine quality. Baigent, senr. (Nelson). —For fine logs and slabs of the trees of that colony, including a fuschia trunk, 9 feet high and 1£ inches in diameter. Blcazard, li. (Auckland). —For machine made buckets from kaikatea wood, varnished with kauri grm varnish. Blick, Brothers (Nelson). —For a bark called hinau used for dying brown and black. Clifford, Sir Chas. —For a collection of the ferns of the Colony. Combes and Daldy.—For very fine specimens of kauri gum.
Commissioners for Auckland.—For a collection of 39 woods of the Colony in the form of boxes containing the leaves. Elliot, Chas. (Nelson). —For a tea poy of Native woods, well carved. Ellis, Mr. (Wellington).—For cotton stand and vase turned in native woods.
