Entrance Fees, Space, if applied for, will be reserved for imported Animals and Birds not enumerated in the above list. General Regulations. 1. The selling price must be attached to each implement shewn. 2. All entries to be made at the Secretary’s Office, Queen-street, Auckland, on or before SATURDAY, the first day of November, 1862 ; no entry will be received after that date. Full particulars can be obtained of the Secretary. 3. The name of breeder and the date of birth of all stock under three years of age (if possible), to be left with the Secretary at time of making entry, or when not known circumstantial information given respecting the causes of failure in that item of certificate. 4. Pedigrees of all Thorough-bred Horse Stock must be deposited with the Secretary at time of making entry. 5. All Horses must be haltered and led. 6. No Stallion shall be exhibited in Sections one and two without a certificate from a member of a College of Veterinary Surgeons as to the state of the animal with reference to hereditary diseases, particularly those of the respiratory and visual organs; which certificate shall accompany the certificate of entry, 7. The same animal cannot be entered in two classes. 8. Exhibitors of poultry will be required to find their own pens. 9 Entries for sheep-shearing to be made on the giound, at the Secretary’s office by one o’clock, and the shearing will commence at two o’clock. 10. Implements must be on the ground and placed at latest on the day previous to the Show. 11. All stock to be on the ground before nine o’clock, and from nine to half-past nine will be admitted on payment of double entrance fees; none will be admitted aftef that hour. 12. The receipt given by the Secretary for stock at time of entry must be delivered to the gate-keeper of the yard by the person who brings the stock, or admission will be denied. 13. No stock exhibited to be removed from its place Until after four o’clock on the day of Show. 14. The Society will not, under any circumstances, hold itself responsible for loss, damage, or mis-delivery of live stock or other articles exhibited at the Society’s Show. 15. Any prize may be withheld when the Judges are of opinion that there is not sufficient merit in the stock exhibited for such prize to justify an award. 16. All protests must be left with the Secretary before 2 o’clock on the day of the Show. 17. All servants coming in charge of Stock will be subject to the orders of the Director and Stewards of the Yard. 18. The Gates will be open for the Public at 12 o’clock. Admission, Is. each. Instructions to the Director and Stewards. 1. The Director and Stewards arc instructed to take care that no Member of Committee, Stranger, or Exhibitor, be admitted into the Cattle Yard, under any pretence whatever, until the Show Yard is open to the Public. 2. The Committee delegates full power lo the Director and Stewards to enforce all the above Regulations. 3. As soon as the Judges shall in each case have made their decision of an award, the prize animal shall be distinguished as the winner by different coloured prize cards. C. ARTHUR, Secretary.
